In the second quarter of 2024, the delivered meal kits and specialty foods category has seen interesting trends across the top applications in the US market. Data from Sensor Tower reveals how these apps have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery maintained a consistent number of weekly active users, ranging from 1.2K to 1.5K, with a peak in the last week of May. However, the app did not generate revenue during this quarter, and downloads fluctuated, with a notable peak of 90K in the fourth week of April.

The Vivino: Buy the Right Wine app showed a significant revenue increase from $113K in the first week of April to $479K in the last week of June. Downloads for Vivino remained steady, with numbers hovering around 300K each week. Weekly active users experienced slight variations but generally stayed within the 5K range.

Factor_ Prepared Meal Delivery saw a gradual increase in weekly active users, starting at 61 and reaching 136 in the third week of June. Downloads peaked at 70K in the same week, but similar to HelloFresh, Factor_ did not report any revenue for the quarter.

CrowdFarming presented an outlier in downloads, with an unexpected surge to 290K in the last week of May. However, the app's weekly active users data was not available, and it also reported zero revenue.

Green Chef: Healthy Recipes had minimal download activity, with the highest at 29K in the last week of May. Active users peaked at 37 in the same week, but no revenue was generated throughout the quarter.
